MicroSD cards are very small memory cards generally used in cell phones to store music files. MicroSD cards are designed for fairly rough usage. As microSD card is an electronic device, it is more susceptible to corruptions. Imagine you have just inserted the microSD card in your cell phone after copying some songs from your computer. As you insert the microSD card in your mobile phone and start listening to music suddenly your phone reboots. After that, you will get an error like “A Media Card has been inserted that contains errors. To correct the errors please use a disk error-checking utility on a computer”. As suggested, you will try to repair it using disk utility by connecting your microSD card on your computer. Unfortunately, it fails to repair microSD card errors. By this time, you must have felt to throw it away!!!! This error generally indicates that microSD card is corrupted. Similarly, there are different reasons due to which your microSD card may get corrupted.
Virus attacks: Viruses potentially damage the file system of the memory card by altering the way it works without the user’s knowledge or permission. If the file system gets corrupted then all your music files including other data may become inaccessible resulting in loss of data. It may also get corrupted due to other reasons like power failure while transferring the files from computer to microSD card. As a result of memory card’s file system corruption you may get errors, which does not allow you to access the files resulting in data loss.
Abrupt removal of microSD card while transferring data: If you accidentally or abruptly remove card reader where the microSD card is inserted during data transfer then you may end up in data loss. This is because, if you are transferring any audio files using cut and paste commands and remove the microSD card before the files get copied to it then you may lose the files, which are in the data transfer process.
Improper formatting of microSD card: If you have formatted microSD card improperly or interrupted the formatting process due to some reasons then you may end up in format error resulting in loss of music files.
As you realize that you have lost the music files from your microSD card, immediately stop using it to avoid permanent loss of files. This is because, if you use the microSD card then the data that is still existing on your memory card may get overwritten by new files. Therefore, avoid usage of microSD card after corruption.
Memory Card Recovery Software can recover your songs from microSD card that has been severely corrupted or damaged due to any logical reasons. If you have accidentally deleted photos from any SanDisk SDHC card then this software helps you to retrieve erased pictures from the SanDisk SDHC card. It can also recover other type of files like video songs, documents etc. on the basis of their unique signature. You can easily find recovered files on the basis of file attributes like file name, file size, file extension, creation date etc. in recovered data list. If you are getting format error due to file system corruption in any of Transcend CF cards then you can use this software. It can easily recover photos from Transcend CF card after format error. Additionally, it can also recover files from different memory cards manufactured by different manufacturers like Kingston, Lexar, HP etc.
How this software works?
Step 1: First you need to download and launch the software to recover files from memory card. As you launch the software, the main screen appears with 3 different options. You need to select “Recover Photos” among the 3 different options. Now, you need to select either “Recover Deleted Photos” or “Recover Lost Photos” according to your scenario.
Step 2: Now, select the microSD card from where you have accidentally deleted or lost the music files and then click on “Next” option to proceed.
Step 3: Once the recovery is done, it allows you to view the recovered music files from the microSD card
- Always take a backup of essential files
- Do not remove the memory cards abruptly from both card reader while transferring data and from the cell phones or digital cameras while processing the data.
- Always format the card by properly assigning the file system. Check before formatting the card in computer to ensure that it is formatting the memory card with the file system that is compatible with memory cards
